About this course
From Lina Wertmüller to Alice Rohrwacher, this course follows the women who shaped Italian cinema from behind the camera. We examine how a female perspective rewrites the stories Italy tells about itself, and what that means for anyone working in adaptation today.
Each session pairs a film with its literary or historical source, building toward a discussion of point of view as the central act of authorship.
